Sign of the Times
Caroline Phillipson has made an exceptional effort to develop her sign language skills and is now completing her British Sign Language Level 1 course.
Caroline said:
… I have thoroughly enjoyed my British Sign Language Level 1
course and I am really pleased at how I can hold a general
conversation using sign language after just one year. The lecturer is
thorough and the class is enjoyable with plenty of time for practising
the signs I have previously learnt. I am confident I would now be able
to hold a general but simple conversation with a deaf person,
which is a real benefit after such a short period of time. I hope to
progress onto level 2 after completing the British Sign
Language Level 1 Improvers course with the Adult Learning Alliance …
