As a former student, you are part of the wider Longbenton High School community. You understand what it means to have walked through our corridors, sat in our classrooms and grown up as part of our school. That makes your voice incredibly powerful. You can help our students see what is possible, raise their aspirations and understand that their background should never be a barrier to success.

There are many ways you could support the school. You might be willing to speak to students about your career journey, offer advice about college, university, apprenticeships or employment, support careers events, provide work experience opportunities, mentor a young person, or simply share a short written update about where life has taken you since leaving Longbenton.
You do not need to live locally to be involved. You do not need to have followed a traditional route. You do not need to have everything perfectly mapped out. In fact, many of the most valuable stories are honest ones about different paths, unexpected opportunities, challenges overcome and lessons learned along the way.
