Longbenton High School Senior Choir have been out singing in the community, spreading Christmas cheer!

On Sunday 9th December the group sang in the bandstand at the North Shields Victorian Christmas Market, an annual tradition for the ensemble.  This popular event was well attended and our singing was well received by all.

On Monday 10th December, Senior Choir travelled to the nearby Westmoor Community Centre to entertain a large group of local people who were there for a Christmas lunch event.  The traditional Christmas carols were gratefully received by the appreciative audience, to the point that calls of ‘more, more’ were heard at the end of our performance!

The group of 25 students ranging from year 9-year 13 were a credit to the school at both events. Well Done!
