Two of our 6th form students deserve huge congratulations, having secured Oxbridge offers for study later this year.

December Events
Monday 16th December will be our school Christmas concert which starts at 7pm. Tickets will be available from Reception. Wednesday 18th December is our annual Christmas Carol Service at St Bartholomew's Church. This starts at 7pm.

Parent Governor Vacancy
England v Italy at St James' Park
Here at Longbenton we are extremely proud of two of our students. On Thursday Ella Davidson and Andreia Campos were chosen as mascots for the England v Italy Rugby game at St James' Park which is taking place on Friday 6 September. The girls have followed the RFU schools' pathway for rugby, whereby they started playing in school and soon became involved in competitions which, in turn, has led them to represent the local club Novocastrians. The girls were escorted by our very talented PE Teacher and year 11 Leader Mrs Cooper. The interview can be seen on the BBC iPlayer under Look North for Thursday 5 September evening programme.
